There are already multiple ways for a teacher to send an email to the participants of a course segment offering. It is possible to select different populations base on conditions like belonging to a group, being registered for a particular examination occasion, being active and/or inactive, being a first time participant and/or a reparticipant, having and/or not having a course break or satisfying some conditions based on grades (and even combinations of those things). Now it is also possible to automatically preselect certain populations in the view “Students” and then manually adjust the selections before sending the email.
