It is now possible to specify zero or more research areas as meta data for a publication that belongs to a degree thesis. This can be done when creating or editing the publication. Which research areas are available to choose from depends on the department and the department is derived from the authors’ courses.
As of now, it is only possible to specify research areas for the publication. Soon it will be possible to specify the research areas for the thesis project long before there is a publication. Then, when a publication is created, the research areas for the publication will be automatically suggested based on the research areas of the thesis project.
